At Light Art Studio, we believe art is more than something you see. It is something you feel.

Founded by Nigerian born, London based artist and entrepreneur Jovita Iluebbey, Light Art Studio grew from a personal journey of creativity, self discovery and healing.

As a self taught artist, Jovita first began painting as a hobby and a form of personal therapy. It became a space to slow down, express emotions and reconnect with herself. What started as a creative escape gradually became a passion and an important part of who she is.

Through art, she discovered not only the joy of creating, but also its ability to tell stories, express what words sometimes cannot and bring people together.

That belief became the heart of Light Art Studio.

Inspired by healing, self discovery and the beauty of human experience, Jovita’s work explores the emotions and stories that shape who we are. Her creative process is rooted in freedom, reflection and authentic self expression, allowing each piece to carry its own feeling, meaning and story.

Her collections explore themes of identity, femininity, vulnerability, resilience, beauty and personal transformation. Collections such as Beautiful Scars, originally created for exhibition, reflect this philosophy by finding beauty and strength in the experiences, imperfections and layers that make us who we are.

Through expressive colour, texture and bold visual storytelling, each piece is created with intention to evoke emotion, spark conversation and tell a story beyond what is immediately visible.

Light Art Studio is not only a place where art is created. It is a space where creativity is shared.

Jovita’s own experience of finding freedom and healing through creativity inspired her to create experiences where others can discover that feeling for themselves.

Through Paint & Sip events and creative workshops, Light Art Studio brings people together in a relaxed and welcoming environment to paint, laugh, connect and explore their creativity, whether they consider themselves artistic or have never picked up a paintbrush before.

From original paintings and limited edition prints to hand painted pieces, workshops and creative experiences, everything at Light Art Studio is connected by one simple belief:
